Bekah Smith, MA, LPC
Bekah enjoys counseling children (8+) , adolescents, and adults who are navigating grief, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, and life transitions. She also has a heart for counseling family members of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Bekah practices from the belief that all people deserve to feel heard, seen, and cared for. Every person has unique strengths and challenges, and every person has a unique story to tell. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, grief work, and psycho-education to help clients identify and work through challenging negative thought patterns, processing difficult life experiences, and establishing positive healthy habits. She can implement Biblical counseling techniques as requested.
Additionally, Bekah has experience counseling those who have lost family members to suicide, those navigating loss of parents and children, and those walking through faith challenges.
Bekah graduated from Texas A&M with her B.S. in Psychology and Amberton University with her MA in Professional Counseling.
